BHS Approved Blackborough End Equestrian Centre is approved by the British Horse Society. You can rest assured that the high Standards of the BHS will be upheld in the training and tuition given. Lessons Learning to ride is an exciting new challenge for the beginner at any age. For the more experienced rider as well as the novice, the enthusiastic instructors at Blackborough End Equestrian Centre will help you every step of the way to becoming a competent rider or to improving your skills to competition standard. Hacking For the competent rider, hacking out in the countryside with Blackborough End Equestrian Centre is a worthwhile experience. A wealth of tracks through fields and woodland take you out into the countryside to be at one with nature through all the seasons. Competitions Horseback competitions add a whole new dimension to your riding and can lead you in a variety of directions. You may enjoy the excitement of showjumping or cross country or the more disciplined technique of dressage. At Blackborough End Equestrian Centre our aim is to give you the opportunity to start on the road to fulfilling your ambitions by trying your skills in the competitions held at the centre regularly throughout the year. Courses At Blackborough End Equestrian Centre we run regular British Horse Society (BHS) stages in preparation for stage examinations. These are for the committed rider with a real desire to learn how to ride and care for their horse or pony correctly. The examination at the end is optional but the training is very comprehensive. BHS progressive tests can also be trained for and taken here at the centre. Holiday events During school holidays, regular "own a pony" days are run and in the summer holidays a programme of special events are organised to test the skills of the young rider. Enthusiastic riders of any age are also encouraged to take part. |
